Lou is like a magical wizard! Her knowledge and expertise is second to none, always cheerful and friendly, but most importantly if you put in the time and follow the exercises and movement positions she advises, the difference is fast and so effective.
I have had pain on and off for years with CrossFit and finally decided to get help at the root of the issue rather than just treating the symptoms, and am so glad I have! The difference is huge. It's fascinating how much the body compensates for ineffective movements! Anyone in pain -I definitely recommend Lou!
I've been working with Louisa to address an ankle problem for a few months, having heard nothing but good things about her from my partner.
She was really approachable from the outset, and really thorough in diagnosing what my issue was.
Her depth of knowledge is immense: she's always able to change things up on the fly if I struggle with an exercise (or very, very occasionally find one too easy!) and can explain how everything fits together in simple terms.
A great physio - knows her stuff and super friendly. Definitely recommended!
I started seeing Louisa in April 2023, after she was recommended to me. I had an old chronic torn ligament injury aggravated by spraining my ankle x3 times in 2022 and was now in quite a bit of pain. My experience with Louisa has exceeded my expectations and she has gone above and beyond any other physio I have worked with. Her expertise with treating injuries especially in the feet was apparent straight away and I left our first session armed with new exercises I had never been given before. During the last 6 months Louisa has problem solved to work out where my pain is coming from, she often recommends equipment I can use or loans different equipment to me to use at home to help with my injuries. Outside of sessions she’s always at hand answering questions and offering help with buying suitable shoes has been invaluable. As a result of seeing her I haven’t sprained my ankle since last year, they feel stronger and in the last 6 months my pain has also reduced. I would highly recommend Louisa.

I was struggling with foot pain. I had been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and it was starting to affect everyday life. It eventually escalated to the point where I had to stop doing the things, I love including running, walking and regular bootcamp classes.
Louisa was amazing. She initially worked with me to reduce the pain and then to work out the causes and work on long term prevention. She provided me with regular exercises which I could do at home and adapted them as my strength improved and she learnt more about me and the way I move.
Over time I have been able to start running again but with a much greater awareness of my limits and how to adapt my training. I am excited to be taking on the Great South Run next week (a 10 miler on the south coast), something I wouldn’t have thought possible 9 months ago.
